Ingredients
- •2 cups Elbow macaroni
- •2 tbsp Butter
- •2 tbsp All-purpose flour
- •1.5 cups Milk, whole milk
- •2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded sharp
- •0.5 tsp Salt
- •0.25 tsp Black pepper
Instructions

1. Cook elbow macaroni according to package directions until tender.

2. While pasta cooks, melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.

3. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute to make a roux.

4. Gradually add milk, whisking constantly to prevent lumps.

5. Cook until sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes.

6. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted.

7. Drain pasta and mix with cheese sauce.
